I'm still here. I've just had the busiest six weeks since pretty much ever (900-page manuscript plus two-and-a-half-consecutive-weeks'-worth of houseguests plus trip to New York plus some other things), but still here. Reasonably functional, even.

TOR: My husband is beta testing The Old Republic. I'm not an MMO person (I'll play TOR because it's Star Wars, not because I play well with others), but he is, and he's impressed by what he's played so far. I've never had a non-geek SO, and one of my high school boyfriends had Asperger syndrome and was even taller (5'3" me standing next to the 6'5" boyfriend was quite the sight, but we managed), so I'm not surprised that I'm crushing hard on Sheldon. Also, Jim Parsons has the best comic timing I have ever seen.

Back from Calgary at last. For me, the highlights of the trip were the Vietnamese food (cheap, good, and everywhere), the hot springs at Banff, and dinosaur fossils (the Royal Tyrrell Museum has earned a spot on my top ten favorite museums list, and I am very picky about museums).
